She is a good neighbor. Her “or else” comment was that she would call animal control and trap Sweet Pea and let the pound take her away.

Not that she would do that - she has cats herself. (Indoor).

But still... I want to resolve this problem

Keep your cat in the house,Why do cat owners think the world owes them freedom not granted to other pets?We trained our cat after is was weened to walk on a leash and be on a chain outside same as a dog.People were amazed to see my daughter walking downtown with her cat on a leash. If some nieghbor cat kept coming in my yard, the cat would soon be missing.Keep it in your house or on a leash.

From post 13; GraceG:

Take a washbasin and wash the cat in your neighbors yard (with neighbor’s permission) and wash the cat several times in a row over there, soon the cat will associate her yard with getting washed and it will stay far far away from it.

I've never heard of this and it won't work if your cat doesn't mind baths but it sounds plausible. Please let us know if you try this, I'd love to know if it works.

I Googled this: 10 Cat Repellents: How to Keep Cats Away From Your Yard

Unfortunately, the only ones that sound good is #4 and #10. The problem with #10 is if she has cats, it might annoy them.

These guys have better ideas
