I’m with you Mary and I will vote for POTUS but will write in. Just a few % of conservative voters can sabotage Myth Remulak.
Bump
Exactly how I feel!
Thanks for doing the heavy lifting.
Okay, that’s what I’ll do too, DV,
I can’t wait until the RNC contacts me. I’ll send them a similar letter but I’ll leave his hiny scorched more than you did. Your letter is right on and we activists should encourage this strategy nationally.
Every letter I have received from the RNC asking for donation in the last 2 years has been returned without a donation and the following comment always notated on their return form:
“I WILL MAKE A CONTRIBUTION IF AND WHEN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY NOMINATES A TEA PARTY CONSERVATIVE FOR PRESIDENT”
Apparently, the message to date is being ignored. If Romney is the nominee and his ticket does not include a tea party conservative, then I will definitely not vote!
They don't take us serious.
I will not vote for Romney EVER, at one point he was in the Anybody but Obama column, NOT ANY MORE. Satan by any another name is still the father of lies.
Who dat?? ...never hear the guy nor see him?
The RNC no longer contacts me after a very passionate and somewhat inappropriate smashing during the 2008 election year. I spit on them and Mr. Priebus, like every other RINO, is worth nothing to the People outside of the Establishment.
Good for you, Mary!
I have told these folks on the phone and sent their ads back with the same message..they just are deaf as stumps. They better wake up. I suppose in the end, if we all do this and don’t vote, then the other republicans will say it is our fault and our non vote was a vote for 0bama just as those who voted for Perot against Bush and Clinton put Clinton in the WH.. So far we are not winning this war but the war continues....
Standing and applauding, MM...well done! Romney = write in vote for me, as well. NO Romney, regardless of the consequences.
I think it would maybe be better to hold the nose and vote for The Romney but the TEA Party types have got to get a louder voice and hold his loafers to the fire..I would be more inclined to vote for him only if there is a Tea Party VP..that is to say I would have just a slight bit of comfort. I will not ever vote for a democRAT and when CA gets to vote in the primary I will either go for Newt or Santorum.
[ I cant wait until the RNC contacts me. ]
Why wait?..
I just think it’s time for us Freepers to put our money where our mouth is and take action.
I hope that we can share our ideas going forward.
Comments that don’t accomplish anything are fun to read but we need to do more.
Praise the Lord but Pass the Ammunition!
Exactly so. Please send the money you would have sent to the RNC to Tea Party candidates for Congress. They are out there and they desperately need our help. We have NO clout with the RNC if we don't do that. None. Sorry, you can stay home and not vote all you want but the only thing they'll pay attention to is who gets money and who gets elected. So, please help. Besides, it's the only way to turn things around.
Do you really think he’ll see your response? They farm the fundraising out to a third party or a volunteer group of interns at the RNC. You and MM would get better results writing directly to the RNC honcho under a different cover than those RNC poll or info letters provided return envelopes.
Can’t win with a strategy like yours, sorry. Rather than like acting liked spoiled children, which is what most of these posts about Romney and the RINO’s resemble, we need to stop acting stupidly and get MORE involved in the Republican party at the local level and push the conservative agenda up rather than having RINO governance pushed from the top down, then running away crying saying we aren’t going to participate. Doing that Obama and the RINO’s win.
We have to work harder and don’t cry when we can’t seem to get our way. Work harder, that’s the only option for conservatives like us.
That's just playing into the GOP-E's hands. Don't be fooled just because they put a token conservative out front - he or she will not be a factor at all in a Romney Administration.
In 2008, I could hold my nose and vote for McCain because he was a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution, although he became much more moderate as the years went by. Romney wasn't an ally - he was on the other side. When Reagan was fighting critical battles, McCain was generally there, the Romneys were always AWOL. Of course, with Palin on the ticket I didn't have to pinch my nose quite so hard.
