And the question that keeps coming to my mind now is this: How can the “alternative to Romney” also be a Romney supporter?

Because in 2008, the horrible choices were McCain, Romney or Huckabee.

I could just as easily point out the faults of supporting Huckabee.

The exact same thing that happened in 2008, a split conservative vote, is happening again. Only trouble is, Santorum is not conservative. He is being designated as one because of his short list of radical, social agenda.

True. All three were almost equally as bad. You and I would not fault one for holding their nose and picking one of the three, even if it was Mitt.

But that wasn't Rick's point-of-view in 2008.
