I find the pre-Columbian history of the Americas quite fascinating. I am particularly fascinated by the story of the Lady of Guadalupe, “Coatlaxopeuh (pronounced quatlashupe), meaning “the one who crushes the serpent.”

Her appearance in Mexico marked a major turning point in the religious history of the people.
