Our daughter goes to an allergy doctor, who happens to be a very conservative Christian woman.
On our last visit, we were discussing my daughter’s upcoming college plans. We chatted about it awhile, and the doc told us her daughter was going to graduate in a few months,etc.
As we discussed college, the doc became very serious, and said at one point her daughter was having a very hard time and wanted to come home. The reason being, she wrote a paper defending traditional marriage, and her professor in that class was a very militant gay man. He openly verbally attacked her daughter, and most of the class of brainwashed liberal hippie sheep idiots joined in.
The daughter was merely stating the position of the Bible and her beliefs on the subject. The doc said the professor went c.r.a.z.y.
After stopping her husband from flying to the college and challenging the big tough homo to a fight, she said they decided to tell her daughter to take the bad grade on the good paper, and keep her views to herself. I could tell the doc was very upset about this experience, as her face was very troubled as she told us the story.
It makes me very angry that this girl, along with my doc’s daughter, are set upon by masses of sick wierdos.

I used to teach a Sunday School class to high-school age students. I would lose a few students every year as they left for college. I warned them that the first thing their profs will teach them is that "there is no God". I also advised them that if they cared about their grades that they should never challenge the prof in matters like the one you described. I told them to just do the work. After they graduate, they can go and repudiate the prof and the entire school if they want.
It's a losing battle to try to change the minds of liberal academia. My wife used to work at a university that was full of Godless elitists.
