NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) A college student from New York is suing Stonehill College in Massachusetts, a Catholic Liberal Arts College, saying her roommates sex life drove her into a suicidal depression and that the school did nothing to address her concerns.
The student, Lindsay Blankmeyer, alleges that her roommate, Laura, was having online and actual sex right in front of her, according to the court complaint.
More disturbingly, Laura would have sex with her boyfriend while Lindsay was trying to sleep just a few feet away. Laura would also engage in sexually inappropriate video chatting when Lindsay was in the room, the complaint read.
Blankmeyer suffered from depression and Attention Deficit Disorder when she enrolled at Stonehill in September of 2007. She said she wanted to see how she would perform in school without any sort of additional help in the form of a reasonable accommodation.
However, the complaint states that Blankmeyer began to incur issues because her roommate often had overnight guests without asking [Blankmeyer's] permission or even informing [her] that she would be having guests.

popcorn please..
This is no fluke (or is it?).
I believe that Stonehill used to be a women’s college. Did Wheaton ever go co-ed. A lot of women prefer a women’s college.
This thread is useless without pictures. Guilt cannot be established.
Sounds like the roommate is a real fluke (slut == fluke).
She should transfer to GEORGETOWN UNIV. .......
“Miss Blankmeyer, you’re not calling your room mate a Slut are you? There are Speech Codes against that”.
So who’s betting that Obama will call the slutty room mate soon to offer her his support?
You know that all he’s doing is trying not to look totally gay.
I wonder which PC disease ADD or sex addiction wins in the rarefied air of university PC
Wheaton in Massachusetts went coed a long time ago.
Okay guys, time to add a phrase to the cultural lexicon...
From now on, when a woman of questionable or excessive sexual proclivities is mentioned, she is to be referred to as a “Fluke.”
So it shall be written, so it shall be done!
I wonder how long it will take the Left to remove “sex addiction” from the DSM just like they removed homosexuality. According to Wiki, DSM-5 is due May 2013 (just after the election, surprise!).
I would have ADD studying also if my roommate was boinking a hot female coed.
They don’t say whether or not she did, but the roommate could have offered to share. I doubt she did.
Manners these days, atrocious!
Depressed and ADD... then the added stress of frequent “sexile”. Or worse yet, not sexiled!
She knew she had psychiatric problems, but she wanted to see how she would do without accommodation. Well, she didn’t get any, (accidental pun) and now the results on how she’d do are in.
A normal person who had drawn the short straw on a room-mate would go make a big enough fuss to get a different room or room-mate, not suffer and sue.
