A former Stonehill College student is suing the college, saying it did not help her move out of a dorm she shared with a roommate who she claims was overly sexual.
Lindsay Blankmeyer, who says she suffers from depression and attention deficit disorder, is seeking $150,000 from Stonehill, claiming the college violated state and federal laws because housing officials did not give her reasonable alternatives for escaping a bad living situation.
In the lawsuit, filed in federal court in Boston on Wednesday, Blankmeyer alleges that her senior-year roommate had sex with her boyfriend as Blankmeyer tried to sleep a few feet away.

My son had this problem with his roommate in college. The guy’s girlfriend slept in their room EVERY night. My son would leave and spend the night in another friend’s dorm room. WHAT kind of a girl has sex with her boyfriend all the while knowing someone is several feet away from you and can hear everything? Totally disgusting! Slutty even!!
Well, my ex-college roommate's current wife, for one, but of course the roommate was equally responsible.

"Students must obtain permission from their roommate(s) for a guest to stay through the night.... Behavior that is intrusive to the privacy of the roommate(s) is prohibited... As a Catholic institution, Stonehill College does not condone cohabitation."
Clearly, the school has failed to provide Lindsay with the kind of campus life that the school advertises in its manual.
Why would Laura even apply to such a school in the first place?

Looks like the media is playing “smear the square” with this girl’s picture. That’ll teach her to pretend she has the same rights to sue as a liberal woman.
You need to read the captions in #24 more carefully. I do believe you have the players reversed.
With so much to consider and debate sometimes the bigger issue can get a little clouded.Sometimes an issue just needs nutshelling to clear the intellectual air and clarify the bigger picture.
