Nineteen year old Aakash Dalal was the brains behind a string of attacks that terrorized the Bergen County Jewish community between December and January, police alleged on Friday.
Aakash Dalal, a Lodi resident and student at Rutgers University, is the second man arrested in connection to the attacks, which began as petty vandalism and took a violent turn with the firebombing of two synogogues last month.

Officials released excerpts of alleged instant message conversations between the two men recovered by a computer forensics expert with the Bergen County Prosecutor's office Friday. The often graphic exchanges offer a glimpse into what Molinelli described as a "student-teacher" relationship between Graziano, identified as "AG," and Dalal, identified as "AD."
In one such exchange, after a fire ignited behind the Congregation K'Hal Adath Jeshuran in Paramus fizzled out, the two allegedly express disappointment:
AD: Basically no damage. It did nothing. You haven't proven yourself.
AG: So how much damage would be acceptable?
AD: Serious damage. Or total burnage.
"Mr. Dalal was the teacher, and Mr. Graziano was the student," Molinelli told NJ.com on Friday.
The second man charged in a series of attacks on synagogues in northern New Jersey has pleaded not guilty.
Nineteen-year-old Aakash Dalal of New Brunswick is charged with conspiracy, aggravated arson, bias intimidation and criminal mischief.
Dalal appeared in court in Hackensack Monday morning. His plea was entered by his attorney.
He's being held on $2.5 million bail.
After Dalal was arrested Friday, Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli characterized him as an instigator in the January firebombings allegedly carried out by then-19-year-old Anthony Graziano.
Dalal is alleged to have encouraged Graziano and showed him how to make the bombs, though he's not believed to have participated in the acts themselves.
The attacks included firebombing of a house of worship where a rabbi and several family members were sleeping upstairs.
". . . guess who was giving his usual pleasant smile from Mr Dalal's Facebook page? One has to ask whether there is still a Jew-hater in North America, who hasn't had the pleasure of hugging the honourable candidate.image
Is Mr Dalal a Sikh? The name suggests so.
Very unusual for a Sikh to be mixed up in this
sort of thing..
Although first used in the Spanish civil war, it was the Finns in the 1939 Winter War who coined the term, Molotov Cocktail, and it stuck.
But the Finns did not use just a bottle of gasoline and a burning rag. To destroy Russian tanks, they spiced them up with diesel, liquid soap and potassium nitrate,. Making a clinging sticky gel where the nitrate released oxygen creating an extremely hot fire.
Usually, however, a male Sikh will have Singh ("lion") inserted somewhere in their full name. It would be odd for a Sikh or a Hindu to be involved in something like this. But a Muslim of Indian extraction, or a convert to the ROP (as could also be possible in the case of his accomplice), not at all. If anything, the Ron Paul connection (see #4) is the most interesting part of the deal.
