Don't get too excited by the seven or eight sponsors that have pulled out - it's still a long list, at least based on the Atlantic Wire's monitoring of this morning's broadcast. (Strange Bedfellows Dept.: Geico is owned by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway.) Among the names:
--Amberen
--Lear Capital
--Carbonite
--Goodwill
--Polycom Federal
--Winning Our Future (super-pac)
--IncomeAtHome.com
--Stamps.com

I understand Carbonite has bailed.
According to that list Carbonite has NOT left Rush’s show. Have they, or haven’t they? I know there was a mass exodus by Freepers that thought they had left him.
Winning Our Future INCREASED their buy today!!
Last I heard, Two If By Tea will stay! ;0)
You know, Rush could make everyone laugh if he would bring that bit where he spanks himself - and then cancels Two if By Tea’s advertising! (for one day).
Carbonite left.
The letter I saw posted from carbonites owner was insulting toward Rush. Use Crashplan.com. it is free.
What about sherri’s berries?
Thank you!
Everyone is pushing Carbonite on the radio.
I like crashplan, if I am not mistaken they are a local (minnesota) based company.
Because of your recommendation, I have downloaded Crashplan but it is not clear to me how it even works. Where are the files if my computer crashes and how do I retrieve them? I guess you might say I am a novice about computers. It says a month free trial, so after that am I going to be charged?
Thanks in advance!
They are a part of ProFlowers.com...gone and good riddance.
One thing I haven’t seen brought up is that a show as popular as Rush Limbaugh’s probably has a waiting list of advertisers who cannot buy time because it’s already bought up. So they may lose advertisers but it’s unlikely they will lose advertising revenue. It will just be shifted around.
Bottom line is it will hurt the people who bailed and angered the people loyal to Rush a lot more than it will hurt Rush, EIB or Clear Channel.
That would be hilarious.
He said on his show today he called himself to cancel, but the line was busy, so they stay as a sponsor.
I liked the way Rush put it. It’s the listeners that make his show. If the advertizers who left want to abandon his audience, that’s their business decision.
I think he should annoubce 2 if by tea is leaving. He could have some fun with that.
