Washington or Miami.
Is he even cleared to play?
Manning has been in Indy 14 years. His neck injuries may severely limit his playing future.
I think he should make Archie happy and end up in Archieland in some capacity.
Good luck to Peyton, a great guy and a great future in football.
according to reports, doctors cleared him but colts held out on clearing him officially...
Manning with a broken neck and no head would help the Bears.
I’d like to see him end up with the Jets: A.) Playing in same city as bro Eli would be neat. B.) Brady v Manning two times per year would be epic.
He has had 4 surgeries. No thanks! One good hit and he is probably out.
I would hope the Bears can find a way without the demise of a competitor:)
The smart play for Peyton would be retirement. If he makes the choice to continue to play the game, I hope we don’t see him seriously injured. I also don’t want to see him play on his name/history rather than his skills.
Have you discussed this with Roe “I Love Me Some Jay Cutler” Conn?

A quarterback with fused vertebrae, and no offensive line. What could possibly go wrong?
heh..or more likely, What could possibly go right.
Put me in the camp that hopes he will retire.
The only reason he was cut is because if he remained on the roster through next Monday, he would have been entitled to a $28 million roster bonus. This was strictly a business decision and no one should be surprised or upset that Peyton was cut, especially given his health status.
I think his neck is 100%, the only question is if the nerves and muscles in his arms and shoulders respond to get him back. Based on the videos last week, he is throwing just fine.
I don’t get it. Love Peyton, but like Favre, he just can’t move on. He’s made a zillion dollars, he could BUY the Colts, he’s already suffered for a year with an injury that hasn’t COME BACK yet (but will show up for real when he’s older); why doesn’t he settle back and cash in? Just a runaway obsession.
A sad day for Indianapolis. This guy’s not just a great QB but a class act. I’ll remain a Manning fan wherever he goes; hopefully he gets back to the Super Bowl before he retires.
Looks like Jim Irsay is, indeed, his father’s son: no loyalty, no decency, no grace. no soul. May he burn in hell along with his father and Walter O’Malley.
My father-in-law had this identical surgery 2 years ago, and he still has not rehabbed to the point of rejoining full daily activities. Granted he’s a lot older than Peyton, but I really can’t see how you go back to taking hits in the NFL after this.;
