“There are alot magnetic anomalies in this area are due to the topographic effect of volcanoes but it does not affect the Earths magnetic field”

While attracted to headline predicting volcanic eruption headline. My first reaction was this caused by the solar storm ?

The idea that solar flares trigger earthquakes is far from widely accepted, but has received some serious attention from geophysicists. The theory is that the disturbances in the earth magnetic field, which causes instability in the plate tectonics.
