I am an active “temple Mormon” I served in the Army
from 1958 to 1961. I was in Germany for two years.

I have a son who served a mission and has been in the Air Force for 20 years. He is an “Active Temple Mormon”.

He served one tour in Kuwait and two tours in Iraq as a
Weapons Director. He also served two tours in Korea.

He just returned from Korea.

Many of the General Authorities in the Church have a Military background.

My family has had 8 members serve in the military from WWII, Korea, the Cold War and Vietnam. They were my Brothers and a Sister.

Did you serve a mission before you joined the Army?

Hmmmm... well there you go. Mormons defeated the Nazi’s from all their service. So I’m wondering, if a mormon became President how would it be any different than the muslim we have now? I wonder about that. What exactly do mormons stand for? Do mormons revere Isreal as the true residence of the Holy of Holies, or does the “temple” in SLC trump that? What does it mean to be a “temple mormon” anyway? Do you get special pajamas? Are mormons, in general, required support Mittens?
