It is very unsual is what I am getting at and during the draft a lot of Mormons didn’t serve esp if they could get a draft exemption. Romney is proof.

Three of my Brothers were drafted. Two were married and it destroyed one marriage, and the other four years older than me almost starved with his wife.

I and my younger brothers joined to avoid the draft when we would have been drafted after we were married.

My son joined after serving a mission and the draft had ended.
