So if you didn’t have the money for such an expensive doll you were SOL about getting her autograph?

How nice.

They had a couple of cheaper little accessories for less than $50 IIRC. You could also brought previous dolls that you had (that she made). I believe if you stood in line, she would have signed an autograph for you.

The funny thing was several people waited in a long line to meet her. I was in the front part of the room where the "Great Moments with President Lincoln" attraction is and I saw her signing for the guest who stood in line.

So, what's wrong with that?

I've been to many of Marie Osmond's signing events, and she always makes the time for everyone to get the chance to meet her. But, the purpose for the event in the first place is to sell her dolls or crafts or books. It's the same thing at book signings. You have to buy the book at the store during the event to get it signed by the author, and and they won't sign anything else, and probably won't personalize it, either.

On this cruise, I was surprised and disappointed at how selfish and inconsiderate many of the fans were to Donny and Marie, and of the other fans who were waiting for their turn to meet them.
