I don’t trust Donald Trump an inch on this issue. Is Obama sending him in again? Maybe to take attention away from Arpaio to himself, and then somehow flush it down the toilet again?

I know WND loves The Donald, and they deserve some credit for helping to keep the issue alive earlier. but they don’t have very good judgment.

I don’t think he’ll be able to get Sheriff Joe to divulge more than he should.

But what Arpaio needs right now is a lot of visibility and ACCURATE informatio to the public on this issue, so that we can get Congress to appoint an independent prosecutor (NOT from the DOJ) so there’s a federal investigation that can compel records disclosures and depositions from even state and federal agencies. That’s something Trump can do. They’re not gonna kill Donald Trump just as soon as he starts talking about the crimes of forgery and fraud. It would be too obvious. So he provides an opportunity for the public to get what the threatened media won’t tell them. And if he plays this right he could also get the information out about the media threats themselves - which would help people understand why it’s Donald Trump telling them facts about this, and not Scott Pelley (or whoever talks on the tube these days; I don’t even know because I never watch that garbage).

Here’s a post that gives links for info on the media threats (which you probably know all about already but maybe others reading this don’t): http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/2858229/posts?page=83#83

And here’s a link to a thread where I asked people to contact their Congress-critters to ask for Congressional hearings on Arpaio’s findings: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2856341/posts

It explains why Sheriff Joe needs a FEDERAL investigation in addition to his AZ state investigation.

The USA has descended into lawlessness - largely because Soros has taken the whole system hostage. If Trump can get the word out to the uninformed masses, as a substitute for the kidnapped media, we might be able to see a crack in the ice that’s frozen up the normal means of accountability.

“I don’t trust Donald Trump an inch on this issue.”

Or any other.

Maybe the Donald could work on those View Gals, or maybe the Today Folks, to have Arpaio on as a guest; or at least point out the absurdity of not having Arpaio on when Trump himself could only show up with words.

Or maybe Trump is the cur who never barks.

As I’m sure you’re aware, Red Steel is one of the BIG GUNS on FR and a very insightful person. But I agree that if Trump takes more than passive interest in this, the media WILL respond. I was ecstatic when The Donald was hammering Anderson Coooper back in the day. So if this happens again, it could greatly benefit our cause. When this news was released, many were saying “Where’s Trump ?” Well, we don’t know to what extent he will take an interest in this, but this note, small as it is, could lead to something. Hope for the best !

The Donald had his own investigators out there probing around .... and suddenly Obummer comes up with ‘a’ birth certificate. I think Trump hit ‘close to home’ & knows there is more out there, maybe even knows what it is, but he still has to do business in the U.S. .... first & foremost he is a businessman. The media is being threatened and I would suspect Donald has been as well i.e. stop digging. Now that Arpaio has weighed in with factual evidence, Trump can jump on that bandwagon without turning over stones himself. I get the feeling Trump really does not like Obama & considering the business-toxic environment & hostility to business of the administration as a whole, I think that is his motivation in this matter. Just my little theory these days as I watch this thing unfold. The slime is starting to ooze out of the cracks ...

Red Steel is awesome. Insightful and watchful. If I ever disagree very strongly with him I think I’ll get my head examined. lol.

I don’t have a good taste from how Trump backed off of the long-form forgery, so I agree with RS’s skepticism. I do think that Trump can serve a useful purpose though - especially because the demographic who knows him may never darken the door of a place like Free Republic, and that is exactly the demographic we still need to reach, since the media won’t do it.

If for no other reason, we need to reach them so they can consider whether they would really riot for a guy who has played them for fools this whole time. As the communists know, the “useful idiots” are the most dangerous people of all, because if they really believed in the propaganda they will be disillusioned and very ANGRY when they find it was all just a big scam. That’s why after a coup the communists first kill the “useful idiots” that got them installed - so they won’t become disillusioned and fight back.

Well... we need to disillusion some people so Obama loses the ability to call up black riots at will. And Trump might be very helpful for those ends.

Law enforcement are the right people to investigate this. What Trump gave was visibility and permission for others to say it’s reasonable to care whether Obama has committed fraud. Hannity came out in support of Trump’s interest in the subject. He dropped it when his handlers told him it “wasn’t in the news cycle” (only because the media wouldn’t report anything on it...). Hannity has said that he would vet Obama this time even if it costs him his job. Based on how Media Matters was monitoring Hannity’s every move on eligibiliyt, I suspect that Hannity might have been the person who gave Doug Hagman a signed statement about the threats that were made. We’ll see what happens, but Trump could help bolster somebody like Hannity.
