Ed Schultz blames Bush for Trayvon Martin's death

MSNBC host Ed Schultz blamed former Gov. Jeb Bush, R-Fla., for the death of Trayvon Martin, the teenager whose death in a shooting has made national news and sparked accusations of racism in America.

"Jeb Bush helped pave the way for this senseless tragedy and remains silent," Schultz said last night on his show. "What a political tragedy." Schultz attributed Martin's death to Bush because the former governor signed a "stand your ground" law designed to allow someone to shoot an attacker when threatened. "

Strange... not one word from Schultz about the multiple murders committed by the old bastard Joe, Sr., of the murder of Mary Jo by Teddy, or the documented treatment of women as garbage by the Kennedy Boys... or Kerry’s cold blooded murder of a fleeing, unarmed teenager in Vietnam, shot in the back ...I guess Schultz ran out of air time...

“”No did Ed really shoot and kill his dog?””

Yup. I was living in Fargo at the time and ed was the sports guy on tv then. He had been out hunting and apparently the dog wasn’t retrieving quite the way Special Ed thought he should so he got terminated. Of course ed said it was an accident but we all knew what a hothead he was so nobody believed him.

The more Ed opens his mouth the more dumb he sounds. Even Liberals realize the ridiculous things these hard-core lefties spew and hopefully they are embarrassed by it.

I am confused. First I am told that everything is GW Bush’s fault. Then it’s Rush Limbaugh’s fault, and now Jeb Bush.

Did this Trayvon Whatever do anything that contributed to this death? I don’t read or listen to the MSM, so I am not up on the latest.

BTW, is the GOP still waging a war on women? If so, when do we get to “shock and awe”?

Hey—If these “stand your ground” laws become too pervasive, significant damage could be done to a reliable DemocRAT constituency group.

To my knowledge, a stand your ground law doesn’t allow you to chase someone down and shoot them on suspicion of trespassing which is what Zimmerman did. Seems like this doesn’t really have anything to do with a stand your ground law then.

Actually you are missing a lot of facts. Zimmerman lost sight of the kid and was going to find the police(according to the 9/11 calls)when he was attacked by the kid. Kid was on top of him beating the sh** out of him, Zimmerman was yelling for help(can be heard on the 9/11 tapes. When he shot him and police arrived on the scene Zimmerman was bleeding and had grass stains on his back.

Lots of facts are not being brought out by the MSM because they want to use this as a race card and to throw sh** at the 2nd amendment. The reason he hasn't been charged yet is because they have no evidence it was anything other than self defense, despite what many trolls have claimed on FR.

Here’s spectulation on my part: Martin was in fear for his life because he was persistently being pursued first by car then by the same person on foot, at night, in the rain. Drive by shootings, abductions, and muggings can all start out the same way.

Neighborhood Watch is just that, “Watch”. Nothing about pursuing, chasing, questioning, or detaining “suspicious” people and then making a weak claim of self defense when you shoot the unarmed person you were chasing.

Is Ed Schultz a Wife Beater?
North Dakota Courts, Cass County ^ | 01/26/1999 | North Dakota Courts

http://publicsearch.ndcourts.gov/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=203281

MAUREEN K ZIMMERMAN VS. EDWARD A SCHULTZ

Case Type: Divorce Date Filed: 01/26/1999 Location: — Cass County Judicial Officer: Marquart, Steven L

Ed Schultz: Wife-Beater / Drunk Dog Shooter

1) He’s a wife-beater. Beat and physically abused his first wife, Maureen, until she was black and blue and bruised and bloodied. I’ve written this before. It’s no secret. If it weren’t true, Ed could sue me for libel and defamation. So far, he hasn’t. That’s because you can’t sue someone for telling the truth.

2) During a hunting trip, a drunken Ed -while hunting, mind you - shot and killed his own dog. Again, this is true.

We don’t know that the kid attacked Zimmerman and we don’t know that Zimmerman did not try to detain Martin. For all we know Zimmerman was following him with his gun drawn. The fact that he ended up bloody and with grass stains does not show us how it happened. Martin ended up bloody also. He probably had grass stains as well. All we can assume is that Zimmerman was apparently losing the physical conflict when he fired his weapon. Even if Zimmerman was calling for help it does not mean he did not start the altercation. It means he was losing the fight he started or he was trying to set himself up as the victim before he fired.

I agree with you now that actual facts are coming in as opposed to the BS from their family lawyer. And it also raises my eyebrows now that Marco Rubio has been touted as a possible VP candidate (the meme will be that Floridians are gun-crazy yahoos, etc., etc) The Communists always seem to be two steps ahead of us....

You have no idea who started the fight and unless an eyewitness comes forward willing to testify that Zimmerman physically attacked Martin first there have been no laws broken if one witness has stated that Zimmerman was on his back on the ground getting beat up . If it was his voice screaming for help that corroborates the witness’ statement.

“You have no idea who started the fight..”

Neither do you. What we do know is that Zimmerman was the initial aggressor as he was pursuing Martin. Why was he chasing Martin? Citizen’s arrest? Detain him for the police? Search him? Check his ID? Chase him out of the neighborhood? Zimmerman did not have the authority to do any of those things.

As sad as this whole deal is; the shooting must be righteous because the guy hasn’t been arrested. The DA must really be afraid of a suit and so will probably punt the indictment to the Grand Jury.

Neither do you.

Well yeah that's the point. In a police state you don't need evidence to arrest, in Florida you do.

What we do know is that Zimmerman was the initial aggressor as he was pursuing Martin.

There are no facts in evidence that Z was an aggressor at all, if there were he'd be under arrest.

Why was he chasing Martin?

Again no evidence that Zimmerman was chasing Martin exists. The evidence is what the evidence is.

Citizen’s arrest? Detain him for the police? Search him? Check his ID? Chase him out of the neighborhood? Zimmerman did not have the authority to do any of those things.

And there is no evidence that any of that occurred. You just make things up amigo.

Do you favor arrest powers based on your feelings about other things as well?
