I have red hair, but no freckles-I’m one of several redheads in my family.

Most people consider Brazilians a Hispanic ethnic group-Phillipines, Portugal, Brazil-and don’t forget the South and Central American countries where the old native languages are still widely spoken.

I look at Hispanics as having a common ancestry from Spain-it is about the only common thing. And Spaniards from Spain were originally tribes of Gauls, Celts, etc who interbred with the invading Romans, hence getting latin blood, culture and language-so they are also a mixture of several ethnic groups, not a race-nearly all were Caucasian. Folks from the Pyrenees are ethnically Spanish and French both, depending on who claims the area at the time, etc.

With all the DNA and other evidence of tens of thousands of years of people sailing all over the globe to trade, breed and just wander around out of curiosity, it escapes me how people can still have such narrow, ignorant views of humanity.

I see lots of women in Latin America try to dye their hair red — but that doesn’t really work. It ends up looking maroon, like my car.
