For All The Cat~People of Amy's Place
Happy Easter Caturday!
Peace Of Mind
Frances makes a most comfortable Base of Operations
Though our unique arrangement may require some explanation
It began innocently enough sometime long ago
When I was brought into the House just before a Winter's snow
Though Frances and I did not hit it off right away
We slowly sniffed each other out throughout the following days
Learning about each other as a safe distance was always kept
Until Frances curled protectively around me one Morning as I slept
The Ice was being broken as far as I was concerned
An anxious, curious Pewter Kitten with lots of energy to burn
Frances taught me in intricacies of climbing up and leaping
Always within her line of sight for safe keeping
Until the Spring afternoon I found Frances watching the Yard and Street
Up on the Window Sill, where I joined her, though my leap that was not neat
Frances flexed and stretched a bit, but held her relaxed stance
As I offered my side of the Street more than a passing glance
What started as a fluke has become something almost routine
And the most economical Security System Our Pretty One has ever seen!

I loved the poem and picture! Sounds like a true tale....could it possibly be? I read it very closely the second time. Just really interested!! The cat on the bottom is so good to just let the other one lay on top of him. I sure enjoyed this, Jack!
