Marty Allen, along with Martha Raye, Bob Hope, George Jessel, Raymond Burr and a few others were among the few Hollywood celebrities who entertained the troops in Vietnam after the war became unpopular. It did not help Marty’s career but he did it anyway because like the others, he was a decent, patriotic and courageous individual. Our best to him on his 90th, may he have at least 90 more!
