Sorry about your neck and that I don't live closer (AND that I tend to obey rules about not sharing Class II and Class III narcotics. If it weren't for the rules about keeping them in the original container, I'd set out a candy dish near the comfy chair and fill it as if they were M&Ms.)

I'd add in the prescription strength Naproxen.

We could sit around and chat relatively pain free; not that we would remember much about it tomorrow.

LOL! If we don’t remember something, would it not affect our fitness to be Scout leaders?

Now that you mention it, I might have a Percocet left from after I had the baby. I need to get up on a chair to see what we’ve got in the Really Good Drugs section of the cabinet.

No, it’s not from getting up too fast. I’m OK if I’m lying down, but if I’m sitting, standing or walking, I have a hard time with my balance. Almost like the concussions was back. It just started this morning.

Point well taken. Although I intentionally block certain events involving knives, pointy sticks, being served Scout-cooked food, boarding calls for my crew or Troop in International airports, fire, and so forth. Otherwise, I couldn't go on campouts or trips. I have physical and psychological scars, and I'll bet you do, too.

It's those cold sweats when you wake up at night screaming "the horrors, the horrors!" that make being a Scout leader worthwhile.

He’s rather endearing, in an ugly sort of way.

If I had a shekel for every time somebody's said that about me in a whisper I wasn't supposed to hear . . .

You could buy a tasty kosher falafel meal in Israel!

Howdy. down to 2ft of snow. Yesterday when I took Fredd out for a run butterfly’s and small flying bugs all over. I can see ground now, so spring for me is almost here it looks like.

Have a nice safe day!

And, as Scout leaders at training sessions in the Southern Region are prone to recite in unison with an overabundance of enthusiasm whenever a menu is announced: "Yum, yum! My favorite!"

Folks around here (where I live) don’t say things about me in a whisper. They say loud enough for everyone half a mile away to here. May as well have Monopoly Money, though...

I’m going to get the heating pad and wet a washcloth and lie down with my neck on it. My problem may be just a pinched nerve from the arthritis in my neck. I will let you know later if it eases anything. And I’ll say a little prayer for you neck, too!

*hug*

Oh, Sis! I’m sorry! We’re not as hot as yesterday (99) but still, I think we can afford to send you some heat and sunshine.

*HUG*

I took the Motrin, used the moist heat, and my neck feels much better. When I got up to come over here, I didn’t get dizzy. Much.

Still, I’m going to lie back down, take more Motrin and use more heat and maybe tomorrow I can do something besides wobble.

I’ll check in a little later.

I lounged in the recliner with Kathleen and Vlad, listening to Professor J. Rufus Fears lecture, in his pleasant Okie drawl, about the Trojan War. My neck feels a little better, but if I can find a horse tranquilizer in the top of the cabinet, I’ll take it before bed.

I’ve been reading. There is still a naggy litle pain on the right side of my neck, but I think it’s a migraine trying to start. Ick. Just what I need.

When you take the horse pill, try some moist heat on your neck at the same time. I hope you feel much better in the morning!
