Re: math. I had to concentrate on algebra, trig and calc, but for some reason plane geometry made sense and I sailed through it.
Bill was in “precalculus algebra.” He’ll need to pass a semester of calculus for a business degree. By working harder at it, he should be able to get through that, plus plenty of other courses, in the next year at Central Piedmont. He was doing okay early in the semester, but when he started having difficulty, he didn’t seek out help and increase his effort, just hoped that it would all come together so he could get a C.
It’s a low-cost learning experience. He’ll be forced to work on better study habits in the next semester.
