However, let’s not forget that you are a splendiferous chef, and the descriptions of the foods you can cook make my mouth water. My old Italian-language teacher told me that the whole purpose of cooking is taking something which is already good and making it better! I only learned how to cook after I got married (poor first husband—that was probably why that marriage didn’t last.) My mother didn’t want me in the kitchen (maybe because she thought I might waste food by goofing it up, but maybe because I’d make a mess.) My job was cleaning. Otherwise, I got to make my own breakfast, and maybe peel and cut the potatoes, and boil them for dinner. My parents taught me a lot of good stuff, but cooking wasn’t among that stuff. It’s too bad, because both of my parents were good cooks. Now, Mr. Sg does the cooking and I’m the cleanup crew. Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s....
