Not a chance. Maybe back before the my military days I could have made it sound ok, but I was no where near that good.
These days? Still no. I enjoy playing, but I’m no where near as fanatical about practicing as I used to be. Add in weightlifting and various injuries, my fingering is down to a mere fraction of how fast it used to be.
I used to play the violin, but never got past Clair de Lune.
I hear ya. I studied classical guitar for three years, and the best I ever did was, “Fur Elise” (sp?) My mother said that everybody thinks they sound good (she studied piano), but all that I heard were my errors. I was part of the musician subculture by association for awhile, and they said I was a “b____” of a guitarist, and when I listened to tapes, they didn’t sound bad, but they didn’t sound that good, either. Trust me, I have good reasons for humility. (One of them is Segovia lol.)
