Whew! I'm exhausted from watching that game!

It was an exciting game from start to finish. We feel we’ve really accomplished something, beating the big brother we’ve modeled ourselves on since the team’s inception. Your team owned the second period, but thankfully we came away with it. I sat next to a guy visiting from Phoenix who said he’d be back if we played them next. I hope your captain doesn’t retire. He is a great player.

We’re the first team to make it to the 2nd round and that will give Hal Gill time to heal up and play.

The crowds aim was to buck up Fluery from the very begining. The Fleury cheer started before the game and was repeated early and often. Hope it helps him into today. One more thing Malkin....I hope he’s playing for the Pens today. Let’s Go Pens!

Pens got done in by a rugged offensive buzz-saw. Wings were smothered by a defensive fortress. Maybe the Preds and Flyers will face-off in the finals.

Signing Staal and finding a GOOD, veteran back up goalie that fits in under the salary cap.

Wings need some young bushy-tailed forwards. Will trade ya' Lidstrom for Malkin.

The rumor is that Staal wants to be a go to forward. If he wants to be “the man” it can’t be on the Pens. I wonder if it’s true. Various fan boards are dreaming up trades including the Wings.

Good backup goalies will be coveted. I’d like to see a platoon system like some teams have.

What's so funny? He's only 42 (in Gordie Howe years) so he has at least ten more good ones left in him. In his 19 NHL seasons, Lidström has won four Stanley Cups, seven James Norris Memorial Trophies as the NHL’s best defenseman, one Conn Smythe Trophy as the league's best playoff performer, and has been voted into eleven NHL All-Star Games.

These playoffs are completely bewildering. Two of the past four SC Champs have been eliminated and the other two are on the verge, as is this season’s Presidents Cup winner. Ottawa will probably take The Cup.
