Down go the Bruins. Congrats to the Caps. They’re playing a smart game.
If they play the Flyers next, I’ll root for an earthquake.

If my team played team defense like that, they’d be moving on too. It’s fun having a winning team.

I’ve got one more team left, Go Coyotes!

Awful !

I have a couple of sons I wouldn’t want to be living with right now.

Between The Sox,The Bruins, and the BU Terriers my family is in the doldrums.

Oh well,there’s always next year.

The Preds don't look like the same team that stymied the Wings. Although the third goal by the Yotes tonight should not have been allowed because of the hand pass from behind the Preds’ goal and Rinne got knocked down in the paint by another Yote player. Let's see what happens in Music City this week.

No, I agree. They fixed the face-off problem and developed a slew of other things that need work.

Don Cherry vociferously disagreed, which is a good indication Barry did the right thing.

#8 Kings have already beat #s 1 & 2 in the West, why not #3 as well? Whata game.

The key being, they came into the play-offs on a hot streak and haven’t let up yet.

They’re so ugly they’re cute. After all, the team is composed of the dregs of the NHL, they train in a public gym in Scottsdale and nobody recognizes them in public.
Go Yotes!
LA is looking like a world beater right now, that will be a tough test.

Looks like the Capitals are taking the Rangers to Game 7!

Braden Holtby is playing incredible! And he’s from the local team here, the Hershey Bears!

Now that the hated Flyers are done (YAY!) I guess I’m gonna pull for the team with all of the ex- Bears on it.

BEARS GRADUATES CONTINUE PURSUIT OF STANLEY CUP
http://www.hersheybears.com/news/detail.php?id=3830

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Washington Capitals continue their pursuit of a berth in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals, with several graduates and recent members of the HERSHEY BEARS Hockey Club there to contribute.

Goaltender Braden Holtby and forward Keith Aucoin have made contributions as the most recent BEARS graduates. The two joined goaltender Michal Neuvirth, defensemen Karl Alzner, John Carlson, Mike Green, Dmitry Orlov and Jeff Schultz, and forwards Jay Beagle, Matt Hendricks, Brooks Laich and Mathieu Perreault in the Capitals’ seven-game dismissal of last year’s Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins.

Currently, many members of this group – which also includes a practice squad of recent BEARS players in forwards Cody Eakin and Mattias Sjogren, defensemen Sean Collins and Cameron Schilling, and goaltender Dany Sabourin – are battling the New York Rangers and have a must-win Game Six tonight at Verizon Center.

Alzner is my favorite Cap for the picture he tweeted of his dog’s after the marathon loss at home. Who doesn’t like a rich guy with mutt dogs?
