OK, Thanks for that. I know where that is. IIRC that is also backed up to the old break bulk warehouse dock area that has been in ruin for seemingly ever, actually since the late sixties, early seventies when all the money, and attention went towards building up the Container Shipping Terminal operations.
I remember reading a number of years past that they were going to begin tearing down much of that old Dock St. area, and revitalize it all. Curious if that ever happened.
I’ll have to do a tour of the area one of these days. Sort of a nostalgia thing for me. I started in rigging at the foot of Avalon, and “B” St. back in the sixties, then went on to Container Vessel Operations in 1970.
