It was mandatory for south-of-Madison folks to be Sox fans, but that didn’t mean that manly men of northern climes might not also show their virility, men such as yourself. Yes they were. Sadly, we here in the Chicago area don't see that kind of classy behavior from the "amateur team" up on the North side in Wrigley Field.

23rd. Milt Pappas should have had one in 1972 if not for Bruce Froemming calling a borderline ball 4 on a strike. I really think the ump on this one wasn’t going to call that a checked swing no matter what.
