A Test. I'm voting against obozo, by painfully holding my nose and voting for mittens.

Just seeing if I'll get the zot. I can't stand mittens but I hate bamby worse. I'm a automatic withdrawal monthly donor (full disclosure - only 5 bucks because that's all I can afford).

Bamby has to go. If mittens is elected and does what we all expect he'll do (lie), it'll only strengthen us. We'll get rid of him too.

If it's the zot; then, oh well. No hard feelings towards Jim or fellow FReepers.

Kind Regards, Toadman

Thanks for the kind words. BTW, I have a daughter in Fort Worth who, though lacking your distinguished Texan and Texican ancestry, loves Texas with an absolute passion. God bless.

Truth be told, my chief claim to Texas is the fact that my G-G-Grandfather was born here just prior to Texas statehood. It took another 150 years for one of his descendants to move back here and begin a new Texas branch of the family.

We've now got our stake firmly planted, and don't ever plan on leaving. We absolutely love Texas.

Agreed.

IMHO, if 0 gets back in, there will not be any more elections. Period. End of story.

My biggest fear going in is that Romney the nominee, will NOT be able to defeat 0. TheLeft has already begun the onslaught, and the worst of it is that none of it can be refuted because all of the “goods” they have on Mitt are true. The man will do and say anything and everything to get elected, and it is all on youtube, coming out of his own mouth. Newt may have had “baggage” and “women troubles”, but over the course of the campaign against 0 he could have destroyed 0 so completely on an intellectual level that folks would have been won over. No such luck with Romney. Out and about with John Q. Public he is as awkward a man as I have ever seen, and in debates he is NOT quick on his feet. Santorum hammered him relentlessly, and Perry badgered him until he let fly with the infamous $10,000 bet.

Thank you RepublicanElite. I honestly think that little slice of reality, that they may well have chosen their last nominee, never occurred to them.

God help us. A brokered convention, or the world’s most unexpected, outstanding VP pick. Please Lord, we must defeat this sitting _resident.
Tatt

ANYBODY but Barack HUSSEIN OBAMA. The point being nobody could be worse than obama in MY opinion, assuming I am still allowed to have one. ; )

Not my problem that your party selected the wrong guy.

You're an example of those who put ego ahead of country.

A vote for Romney simply confirms to the minds of the GOP-e that they are absolutely right correct. No need to pay any mind to conservatives, ever.

Ego has nothing to do with it. None of you can name single way in which Romney will be less destructive than Obama. Healthcare-Same critter. ProLife-No. Pro2Amendment-No. ProHomo-Yes. Will appoint conservative SCOTUS justices - Absolutely not (appointed 27 Dems in his 36 opportunities in MA). Sorry. No Sale.

I’m voting against Zero — we HAVE to evict him fom the WH. Much as I dislike Romney and his mormonism, i’ll vote for him to kick zero and his cronies out of power. That’s as close as I’ll come to promoting Mittens on FR!

If I get zotted after being on FR daily since around 2000, and FR doesn’t want my $20 per month, I’ll just read the site without posting.

That seems to me to be about all we can salvage out of the election this time. There is a net positive to be gained from kicking Obama out. I'd rather have Gingrich than Romney since I think he's a better man for the job, but that isn't going to happen this time. I have a feeling the zotters and account deleters are going to be busy today.

I will never vote for Romney ... say what you will, I will never vote for Romney. Condemn me and throw slings and arrows my way, I will never vote for Romney. I have a conscience and standards. I will never vote for Romney. If my “not” voting for Romney means the Obama wins, so be it. I will never vote for Romney. Oh, by the way, I will never vote for Romney.

Yeah. Okay.

But will you vote for Romney?

I just can’t understand how voting for Obama with an “R” after his name is any better than just voting for the Obama we already have. In my mind, Romney is more dangerous, because a GOP House and Senate might actually go along with his crap rather than resist it like they would for Obama.

If Romney is the nominee, I’m not voting for him (or Obama, obviously). I will be voting for downticket races, though.

Now Who wins? How do you complete this scenario?

Usually the alarm clock goes off about that time.
