I was pondering which species the Rapids were named after and (sort of) concluded that since it was in Minn probably after the 4 legged species.
In the South it would have been a tad more direct.

Also figure the name is ‘grandfathered’ and back when places were being name the only species would have been the 4 legged ones.

However, one never knows.
