Huntersville is a good option or possibly Davidson. They are both by the interstate and by Lake Norman.
If you have children you should know that Huntersville schools are part of the Charlotte system. The Huntersville residents have been fighting it for years but have had no success in breaking away. Davidson is probably a better option for schools but it’s a college town and more liberal.
Lake Norman is a large lake. The east side is more populated but that is the side close to the interstate. The west side of the lake is more rural. I heard that Donald Trump bought out a large area of land by the lake and is developing it.
I should have added - the Democrats will be holding their convention in Charlotte at the end of the summer. That is making the temporary housing market somewhat tight.
Wow. I had no idea Hunterville kids were hostages of the Charlotte-Mech racist school board. Avoid at all cost!
I know nothing about Nascar, but someone who does might post whether race weekends are miserable for residents in that area.
