My folks would leave me sleeping on the back seat of the Ford Fairlane convertible while they went into Red’s Twin Kiss for banana splits.

The 60’s were safer times.
Creeps and freaks had the decency to hide in dark alleys back then.
Now they have “pride” parades.
There were plenty of children who were 'gotten' even in the 60's.
