Hi Mary Lou! I had a doctor’s appt. yesterday and had to leave before you told us the little story. What a pain some people can be! They can’t help it if they’re a bit stupid.
I have a piano and it isn’t a Steinway, period! I was lucky to buy just a very nice piano years ago. It needs tuning badly but I don’t play much anymore. I wasn’t that good anyway, just played for myself and hubby would listen from the den. My little girl grandchildren loved it when they were growing up. I have the cutest picture of the two of them dressed in matching red and white little dresses, sitting at the piano together. I wish it was loaded to my computer but maybe I will load it later down the road when I get to feeling better.
Sorry the lady treated MY FRIEND badly, especially because I know what a hard worker you truly are! (((Many Hugs)))
Mary Lou, I’m listening to Rush and he had me rolling in the floor laughing, talking about the dinosaurs passing gas (not the word he used) has caused this global warming, re: the article we read!
He is soooo funny! He just went to commercial but he’ll be back in a minute! I try to listen everyday as he perks me up when I’m in the doldrums over the O!!!!
Well, even if she HAD interpreted my statement as, “snippy” (Which it wasn’t!) and i profoundly apologized because it was perceived that way, it didn’t matter to her. She was on a roll.
Even though I was innocent of her accusations, I apologized because something I said unintentionally hurt her. But she would not accept my apology.
What else can a person do?
