That wasn’t a very nice post, LifePath. Plus, not liking Mitt Romney isn’t about conservative “purity.” Do you honestly think we don’t like Mitt because we’re purists? Couldn’t it have something to do with Mitt being a moderate centrist, aka not-conservative?

I’ve posted many times how I wish we could all just get along, but for some reason people want to fight fellow conservatives over whether to support Romney. Many, many folks have posted how they will vote for Mitt, and most of them are not banned. I’m thinking it takes more than support for ABO to get banned, like maybe calling fellow conservatives fools if they won’t vote for Romney, no matter how bad he is (cause he’s not Obama)?

Can we agree that Mitt Romney is a poor candidate? Can we also agree most conservatives who plan to vote for him aren’t doing so because he’s a conservative hero? They’re voting ABO. Vote or not vote, but can we stop demonizing our fellow conservatives over it? After all, we each only get one vote. My vote is mine. Shouldn’t I be free to use it as I think best, or must I use it as you direct?

Yes, but some have been banned. It's difficult to give money to someone who might ban you from his site if you happen to use some phrase he doesn't like, when it's not even clear what those phrases might be.

I am no happier than you or most others here about voting for Romney, but if he is the nominee I will vote for him.

We had some candidates that I could have supported far more than I feel support for Romney, and we all took part in the process. But we lost.

I agree of course that your vote is your vote, but I say with equal certainty that a stay-at-home, or a protest vote, or a write-in vote is very effectively a vote for Obama.

Not saying this is you, but I have seen many posters say that Romney and Obama are effectively the same. That is just plain nuts. Obama is dangerous for the life of this country. Romney is not. He is not a conservative, but he also is not an enemy.
