Danica Patrick wasn't pleased with Sam Hornish Jr. in Saturday's Nationwide Series race at Talladega and made it known by wrecking him after the checkered flag.
In light of what had just happened moments earlier with Eric McClure having to be airlifted to the hospital after a multi-car wreck, her behavior is all the more astonishing. However, neither driver was called to the NASCAR hauler after the incident.
Hornish finished 12th and Patrick 13th in a race won by Joey Logano.
Sam Hornish Jr.:
"... After the race was over, we got right-reared by the 7 car (Danica Patrick). I don't know what she had in her head, but she decided to right-rear us, wreck the car after the race was over. That's really frustrating. It's not the worst day ever, but not what we wanted. I feel like we may have gone a little too early. We got separated and then Brad got wrecked. “
Danica Patrick:
"I don't know what happened. Sam came up to me after the race and apologized, so I'm not sure what was wrong with his car, but he came across the track at the front of the start/finish line."

Bull cheet. I told you what the problem was and many others here and elsewhere thought slamming into another driver after the race was *over* was something you'd expect at from some drunk at a demolition derby.
The race was over, and the b*tch intentionally rear ended another driver, going off like some spoiled broad who just maxed her credit cards out.

Races Danica is in get 17% higher ratings than ones she’s not in. That’s 2.1 million viewers, increasing the price of ads in the broadcast and the value of sponsorship for ALL the drivers. That’s not affirmative action, that’s a solid business decision.
No, he wasn't behind her wheel. She got into that position by herself. But ya got to love her Pollyanna comments in the video.
If she can't deal with not having the skills to pass or win, she ought to get out of the game. Maybe go back to go-carts.

Meanwhile out here in reality when you quickly slide out while a car is partly past you and you don’t stop going wide until they hit the wall, YOU FORCE THEM INTO THE WALL. That’s what he did, he sideswiped her and kept pushing until she hit the wall.
She did deal with it, she hit him back. Suck it up butter cup. This is NASCAR. People bang into each other during and after the race all the time. Great family names were founded on it.
That I did not know. Thank you for pointing this out to me as it is a reason other than affirmative action for her being in NASCAR.
I can understand that decision from a business standpoint but I still think her driving is not at the same level as the other drivers in Sprint Cup. But if she brings in that much more money than she deserves to be there, monetary wise.

After running in circles for another few years and not winning, her experience will no doubt qualify her for a run at congress. All the single moms with daughters will be on board!
I would note that she manages to do pretty well in most of her races, better than many of the drivers she races against.
If she was only there for affirmative action, and wasn’t as good as any of the male drivers in the races, wouldn’t she mostly come in last?
And if there are other drivers who, as you claim, can’t get in the races because of her, wouldn’t they be able to beat out, say, one of the 20 or so drivers who were worse than her in this race, and thus win a position?
I’m a supporter of Kyle Busch so I don’t mind being unpopular here, but what Patrick did was very mild...don’t mind her doing that...its because she’s a woman that this is even posted......
so if Danica Patrick can bring in millions more viewer who happen to be female, what is the beef?....there's a ton of female nascar fans already, what's wrong with a few more?

What you think of me is founded on your idiocracy. Sponsors gave Danica a ride, not the government. If I think you’re a punk, that doesn’t make it so, just very likely. Come back in a couple of years when you realize women are people too. Or when you can present evidence that the sponsors where forced by EEOC to give Danica a ride. They need 43 cars in the field. I am not a Danica fan but she is far from the worst driver. But the worst ones are male. That doesn’t fit your template. So grow up.
