Identify the target, isolate it, mock it, market it.

Alynski for Capitalists. I like it.

Home and waiting for the AC guy to come and do service so it is ready when hot weather comes-AC is one of those things I know nothing about beyond how to change a filter...

The cicatrix that Clinton left
Has been scratched by his friends-
The ones that Obama resurrected
And who don’t care how it ends

The more money Holder can grab
In his job despite the scandal
The more he has in legal fees
When it gets too hot to handle

And Axelrod just keeps prattling
The same old tired party line fears-
Come November he’ll be be put back
In his box for at least four years

I had to put the A/C unit in the bedroom window last week, which is again about 2-3 weeks ahead of normal.

It hasn’t really been hot enough for me to turn on A/C, but on Saturday, the combination of heat and humidity was enough that I was tempted-but I hadn’t had the condensation lines cleaned out yet this year, so I left it off.

It rained and a cool front came in on Monday night, and it is still here- now it is only in the mid-70s during the day and 50’s at night-too cool for A/C. So I’m taking this respite to get it serviced.

They are covering the Reagan era in her history class right now and she has her hands full setting them straight on that. They had a chemistry field trip last week to some military installation in MD last friday, can’t recall exactly what the place was. And the week before they went down to Richmond, to the state capitol to participate in a mock legislative session, and also hit up the Edgar Allen Poe museum, they went on to Charlottesville, toured UVA, spent the night and then went to Monticello the next day. This weekend is prom. She has a date, she’s not enthused about him, but she’s going.

Task your daughter with finding leftie influence while she is there and report back to you. That should keep her eyes open. I can’t seem to see anything on the website but the appetizers. I would eat there, maybe not a second time.

We’ve been using our central air already. Pool’s not open yet though.

They must have sold a lot of candy to pay for all those field trips! ;-)

I stand corrected - they are "retail partners" with Teaching for Change:

Busboys and Poets is proud to offer our retail partners Teaching for Change, Global Exchange, and Art Under Pressure space at absolutely no cost. Teaching for Change owns and operates the Busboys and Poets bookstore at our 14th & V (DC) location. All proceeds from the sale of books go directly to Teaching for Change, a non-profit whose mission is to nurture and build social justice curriculum in schools—from kindergarten to college.

When I KNOW a business is lefty owned and in your face about it, I don’t go there, ever. I want to know anyone I do business with - if I know they are lefties I can find someone else. My choice.

Holy s***! The dumbass in chief says he “personally” supports same sex marriage? Give him a pair of flip flops and a white house expense statement-what a f***ing stupid thing to do, especially since NC just said “fed hands off”. I’m cranking up AC/DC now, before my head explodes...

Don’t worry, he’ll have more “flexibility” after the election.

I will do whatever I can to see that he has the “flexibility” to live anywhere he wants to after November-other than his present address-I’d like to see him sued to claw back taxcpayer money he’s spent on his campaign-but barring that, perhaps he might like France...

So, any suggestions for hippie themed sports bar names?

I’ve got a name for the girls: The Eves of Destruction.

Yeah, I can’t see the upside for him. He already had the gay vote no matter what. for three years he has slapped them across the face and they have covered for him. He possibly loses some of the moderate vote who are religious and they are already reporting some of the religious latino vote may flee....so who did he gain?
