On this weekends broadcast of ABCs This Week with George Stephanopoulos, outgoing Democratic Rep. Barney Frank locked horns with Tennessee Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn, who wanted to focus on economic issues instead of gay marriage.
Frank, an openly gay member of Congress, claimed that Blackburn was relying too heavily on talking points.
I do know George, I have to say and I you know, this is a good political science lesson for people about what a political partys talking points are, Frank said. My colleague, Ms. Blackburn, has been instructed to talk about the economics first. And, while I would prefer to answer your questions, I do have to note that this Republican talking point, that women have lost jobs the job losses came about because of the terrible recession brought about under George Bush.
Blackburn objected to Franks assertion, but then Frank lashed out at Blackburn and host George Stephanopoulos.
BLACKBURN: Oh, I have to correct that.
FRANK: because the Republicans
FRANK: Im sorry. May I continue, George?
BLACKBURN: Thats incorrect information.
FRANK: George, George, what are the rules here?
STEPHANOPOULOS: Finish the point, and then I want Congresswoman Blackburn to respond.
FRANK: Well, Im responding to her point about the economy.
BLACKBURN: George
FRANK: Im sorry. George, what are
BLACKBURN: Barney, here here is the thing you had
FRANK: Excuse me. George?
STEPHANOPOULOS: Hold on. Hold on. Congressman
FRANK: George, would you tell me what the rules are, please?
The two had a couple more dust-ups during the 13-minute segment, even as Stephanopoulos tried to peacefully end the debate.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Im afraid Im afraid were out of time this morning.
FRANK: George, let me be very clear.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Real quick.
FRANK: What she wants to do and what all the Republicans want to do is no regulation at all. Ms. Blackburn voted
BLACKBURN: No, no, Barney. I didnt speak for you. You dont speak for me.
FRANK: Please let me
BLACKBURN: No, youre trying to speak for me. I will not allow you to do that.
FRANK: This pattern of interruption
BLACKBURN: Good to be with you, George.
FRANK: George, you know, the pattern of
STEPHANOPOULOS: You know what? Im afraid Im afraid were out of time, Congressman. Im afraid we really have run over
FRANK: Well, Im sorry, but she voted against this. This pattern of interruption and filibuster is really not a good way to discuss important issues. She voted for no regulation at all in 2010. They all did.
BLACKBURN: No. No, Barney. You cant speak for me. I didnt speak for you.
FRANK: That was the vote that you took you voted
STEPHANOPOULOS: Thank you. I got to go. I got to go.
FRANK: Im quoting your vote. Im not speaking for you.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Thank you both for your time this morning.
FRANK: Im quoting your vote.
BLACKBURN: Thank you. Good to be with you. Thanks.
Frank is such a disgusting twat.
Frank has been busy with Obama perfecting their “gay marrage” strategy:

Only Bawney Fwank would hog the whole segment and then accuse the Republican of filibustering. God what an arrogant a-hole.
Bawney knows stuff (and how to use it.)
No wonder Michelle always looks so angry!
Barney Frank hates women even more than Obama does.
I work with a guy like that. He'll talk 90% of the time in a meeting, and if anyone tries to get a word in edgewise, he will get personally offended and immediately go into a stuttering, "Wait a minute ... wait a minute ... wait a minute ... can I just say ... can I just say ... can I just say ..."
Because 90% domination is just not enough for some people.
Hmmmm. You reminded me of the 0bama ‘Sweetie’ moments:
“Obama apologizes to ‘sweetie’”

“Sen. Barack Obama did what you have to do if you say something to a person that many people find offensive, especially if you’re running for president: He phoned Peggy Agar, the reporter he referred to as “sweetie” to apologize for calling her that and blowing her off after she asked a question following a Sterling, Michigan campaign appearance yesterday.
WXYZ-TV, the Detroit station Agar works for, has a recording of the voicemail to Agar’s phone up with a story about the apology on its site. In the senator says:
“Hi Peggy. This is Barack Obama. I’m calling to apologize on two fronts. One was you didn’t get your question answered and I apologize. I thought that we had set up interviews with all the local stations. I guess we got it with your station but you weren’t the reporter that got the interview. And so, I broke my word. I apologize for that and I will make up for it.
“Second apology is for using the word ‘sweetie.’ That’s a bad habit of mine. I do it sometimes with all kinds of people. I mean no disrespect and so I am duly chastened on that front. Feel free to call me back. I expect that my press team will be happy to try to make it up to you whenever we are in Detroit next.”
The WXYZ story reports that Obama has indeed called people “sweetie” before, and on at least one occasion, caused a min-tempest.
In a posting on the New York Times Political Blog titled “Obama: Hold On, Sweetie,” reporter Jim Rutenberg pointed out this wasn’t the first time Obama used the word: “Back in Pennsylvania in early April, Senator Barack Obama took some heat for calling a female factory worker ‘sweetie,’ in Allentown.”
Obama clearly needs to go on a “sweetie” diet, tightening up on his use of that diminutive.
It just seems dismissive, belittling and, yes, chauvinist, even if he doesn’t mean it to be, if he uses it with anyone other than his wife, his daughters or little children, especially when he so addresses women he encounters along the campaign trail.”

How would you like to be the guy or gal that has to clean his slobber off the studio desk after that?
This is a deliberate, well-honed tactic that "progressives" learn in training sessions. They interrupt and get their points out in filibusters all the while accusing their opponents of interrupting and filibustering. Some, like Alan Colmes, are very practiced at interrupting just as the other person is about to make an important point. They keep interrupting to make certain only their progressive sound bites are voiced. Marxists have always been very good at propaganda; they spend a lot of time studying it.
Frank is nothing more than a nasty pervert.
Slobbering goober who slobbers over goobers.
Barney Frank loses composure in This Week appearance
I read that title and my first thought was, “How could you tell? Did he start talking like a straight man?”
I’m a bad man. ;)
“thith pattewn of intewuption...”
Frank is a walking talking fag joke...
The demscum are becoming (more) unhinged. The internal polling must be just awful. LOL.
