If you turned off Mark “Mitt Romney looks like a Tea Party Conservative compared to me” Davis, you didn't miss much. He spend the first hour telling us why we had to appeal to moderates by not appearing to be anti-gay and though he was opposed to gay marriage, he wanted everybody to know he had nothing against gay people and they were just great folks. Then spend another half hour lecturing us conservatives on how we are going to lose if we berate gays and tell them they're going “straight to the lake of fire” (his words).

OMG - I was hearing a Mark Davis voice in my head as I was reading your post. You have an interesting talent for capturing people’s speech in print. I only listened while driving to/from lunch today but his delivery certainly imprints in the brain. Davis had some good content and comments today, especially concerning Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage, but I can’t stick with Davis for the entire show.

Rush himself often states he has more listeners than ever. Why then is he selecting substitute hosts who are "pablum" like someone else here said? I switched channels and listened to Boortz.
