"We'll deal with that when the time comes."

Great plan.
In other words, there is no way to do it.

"....stacking the Supreme Court with Communists"

On the bright side, the most likely ones that will be replaced are already lefties, so short of some devastatingly bad luck, that ought to be a 'break even'.

And don't forget, that even 0bama can't make a Supreme Court Justice without the Senate, so THERE is where we need a preponderance of Conservatives.

And if we get a preponderance of real conservatives, with some gonads, in the House, they can tie up the purse strings so that 0bama cant actually get much done.

Don't put your hopes and efforts into a weak vessel like Romney. Get good people into Congress

You still won't address the glaring flaw in your reasoning. Yes, Romney is a weak vessel - but the Obama is a sieve, and your strategy is to default to the latter.

Don't put your hopes and efforts into a weak vessel like Romney. Get good people into Congress

And these goodly people wield their vested power to prevent Unconstitutional, unpopular legislative impositions by the executive branch, such as blocking Obamacare?

Obama, in case no one has recognized it, has concentrated power in his branch, acting either directly or via end runs around Congress by deploying czars and the hammer of federal agencies.

You may not have a political obligation to oppose Obama, but you have a moral obligation. (And here I'm assuming you, as we all do, oppose everything he stands for- trashing our Constitution; abortion "rights"; restricting liberty; wealth redistribution; sustaining our dependence on foreign oil by destroying our domestic and prosperous O&G industry, while rewarding his cronies in hapless "green" energy schemes; bringing the country to its knees before the approving world by crippling our military in the name of fairness and some vague notion of National penance) And that's just for starters. Feel free to add to the list, while you can in a Free Republic forum, because I imagine Obama has plans for such venues.

I think a closer examination of an unwillingness to send Obama home at any cost will eventually change your mind. You want to be true to yourself. Romney, I hope, isn't more important that your moral convictions and values. I'd prefer Perry or Newt and few others running against Zero but it's not the reality. So I deal with it.

Andrew Breitbart, when asked who he favored in the GOP Primaries at CPAC replied "I don't care." He went on to explain himself saying (I paraphrase) that removing Obama was paramount/critical to National survival. He knew. That's good enough for me.

Senate Republicans have a long history of magnanimously approving the Democrat President’s choice on the theory that he was elected and he deserves to be able to appoint whom he likes. Democrats fight tooth and nail against conservative appointees and often induce Republican Presidents to appoint moderates (less voluble lefties) or those whose views are unknown. Senate Republicans will be Senate Republicans. They are truly a weak and twisty reed on which to rely.
