Trick of the Tail.

Genesis will always be my favorite band.

My least favorite song on a great album. Just seems lifeless and droning to me.

The middle section of Robbery, Assault, and Battery is my favorite part of Trick.

I much prefer the Gabriel-led version of the group, of which A Trick Of The Tail wasn't.

I can listen endlessly to Supper's Ready, and always enjoy watching the YouTube videos of the live performance of this song (which is in several parts since it was such a long song). The Magog costume he wore during the Apocalypse in 9/8 section was awesome!

So many people think of Genesis as a pop band from the 1980’s. So did I.

When I started getting into the old stuff, it was a revelation. There was some serious music in that stuff. Amazing the band lost it’s way so badly, but they did become more popular when they abandoned their roots.

The “jam” in “Romeo and Juliet” changed my life. Especially the drums.

Sad to think how they ended up.
