With FF12, I notice a pop up about scripting errors on certain websites. I am not sure whether the problem is FF or Java or Adobe Flash.

www.nhl.com is one website where the scripting error occurs.

In previous versions of FF and IE, one could select to ignore such errors. That feature does not work in FF12.

I tried to ignore a scripting error message that kept popping up until mlb.com and certain live streaming videos and even YouTube stopped working. The next time the script error message came up asking to try to continue running scripts, I hit “continue.” But at the same time, I allowed a java add-on/update that I hadn’t allowed before. Anyway things started working after that but I don’t know which of those thing fixed it.

Get Ghostery to close out the Trackers - it appears one of those is causing that script error on the NHL site.

Firefox 12 with ABP, No-Script, Better Privacy, and Ghostery makes for a very clean page without third-party ads or pop-ups. Life is good!
