Let me say, if this went down the way it is claimed, I am against it. You cannot do that to someone’s child.
I am reminded of a kid I went to school with. He reeked; it was horrific. He knew it and used it, purposely bumping into people, then they would stink. Yes, it was that bad. I remember a few times that the boys forced him to take a shower after gym. Now, I believe his mother was a hoarder and this was a by-product. I tried to always be kind to him, but it was difficult especially if he touched you. I believe he committed suicide many years later. A shame too; he was brilliant.
Need to correct that post. He did not commit suicide; it was an attempt. Sorry, Thank goodness it was not successful.
So do clean ones. Getting lice is not related to whether one is clean or not. It's related to whether one is in close contact or using the same hairbrush as someone who has lice.
There is no way in heck that two female employees of a school district forcing an 8-year-old boy to go buck naked and then scrub his body.... is the right thing to do. I don’t care if the kid was a walking pigsty; if you’re a public school employee you don’t do that.
No thoughts of romance at any time, even though the water wasn’t too cold, certainly not as cold as the Lake Superior water in September of another year when I finished a week long hike by washing up alone in a small bay that wasn’t too cold. On that canoe trip we’d all gotten so filthy and stinky that each of us just wanted to bathe and get clean.
Not necessarily child abuse.
Some kids with autism spectrum disorder will not bathe.
Later found out he was from Arkansas and bathing was something his family did only on occasion, I don't think they even had indoor plumbing. Bathing just was NOT part of his life experience.......but he changed!
Come to find out that, in their tribe, the more BO (not barack obama) one possessed the more ‘manly’ he was considered. SOooooooooooo, these Angolans would not cleanse their lower extremities EVER. Hygiene training became part of the training syllabus. Oh, yeah, all cultures are equal.
We used to call those “GI Showers.”
And you should be ARRESTED if you do. Where are the police in this incident?

Trust me, if this happened at a private school warrants would have been issued and the perpetrators would have been taken into custody on multiple counts of indecency, child abuse, and other sexual predatory charges. Most likely they would end up as registered sex offenders.

I was just kidding. A week the Great Wild isn't’t as romantic as in the movies, at least for the ladies. When we came home, all the women wanted was a hot bath, a soft bed and 24hrs to recover from our vacation.
A lot of fun but not for "intimacy'
I worked in a warehouse with a smelly guy who was so rank you could tell which aisles he’d walked though for several minutes after he’d been there.
The manager talked to him several times about it to no avail and eventually fired him.
After four days without a bath, while paddlng and portagng in the wilderness, the whole body, be it male or female, begins to itch, burn, and stink. Worst of all, the private parts are the worst. At that point, for any normal peson, a good bath transcends any thoughts of romance.
