There were 11 of us, 6 men and 5 women...Modesty suddenly vanished. We all went in buck naked and bathed together....

I guess it is needlessly to ask if any thoughts of the romancatic nature ended as each hit the cold water ?

No thoughts of romance at any time, even though the water wasn’t too cold, certainly not as cold as the Lake Superior water in September of another year when I finished a week long hike by washing up alone in a small bay that wasn’t too cold. On that canoe trip we’d all gotten so filthy and stinky that each of us just wanted to bathe and get clean.
