I know people are shaking their heads at the possibility of a third grader not knowing how to cleanse themselves after toiletry but a few years ago a friend told me her nephew of did not do so into high school. It came to her attention because the uncleanliness had caused cysts on his bottom and the inflection spread into neighboring tissue up to his scrotum, resulting in several surgeries and skin grafts(including a temporary colostomy)

How his mother didn't realize this her aunt had no idea.

I work for an international oil & gas company. Some fellows I knew were training a group of Angolans to operate a control room for an oil platform. These Angolans had such strong body odor it was nauseating to the Americans.

Come to find out that, in their tribe, the more BO (not barack obama) one possessed the more ‘manly’ he was considered. SOooooooooooo, these Angolans would not cleanse their lower extremities EVER. Hygiene training became part of the training syllabus. Oh, yeah, all cultures are equal.
