Just back from the doctors office, got the wrapper off of my left eye. When everything settles down I'm gonna have close to 20/20 in both eyes!
It's a different world and it sure is pretty!
I’ve got me thinking. I’ve got at least one starting, though the Dr. says it’s not ready for an operation.
Almost looking forward to it.
You've got me thinking. DUH !
Do they have a similar operation for the brain?
Great news, and please do as F15Eagle suggests in post #3. You won’t regret it.
The VA gave me some BIG ol’ square bulky things to wear with a brow guard on them, but those were way to hot to wear for any length of time, and they looked dorky. You can find some others that will be more comfortable. I did.
That’s great! All the best in your continued recovery.
I remember my Grand Father having to use a large magnifying glass to read the newspaper. He had cataracts in both eyes.
Now that I’m starting to develop cataracts, I have something to look forward to!
I am very happy for you. It must be wonderful!
I am so glad it is over and so successful!
Now you can see your pictures as well as the rest of us! LOL
Awww. God bless you and those new eyes. It’s a good reminder for us to be grateful for all that we have and take so for granted.
I’m very happy for you. Glory to God!
Congratulations!
Congrats swampsniper! Lookin’ good ... ;o)
My eyesight was always poor, and continued to get worse as I aged. I had cataract surgery about five years ago, before all the new-fangled lens were approved, so I still need glasses for reading and up-close work. It’s comforting, though, to know I could see if something happened and I lost my glasses! Congratulations to you!
You’ll love the results and the surgery is really pretty easy. I know, I’ve had it done on both eyes.
Just think of the better patterns at the gun range.
I’ve already tested my sight picture, I’m sharp as a tack again, both rifle and pistol.
I’ve had both eyes done with great results. One thing to look out for as your cataract “ripens” is that you vision change may well be different than just getting blurry. I never had any definite loss of ability to notice light levels or blurring of vision. Rather, I started seeing multiple images out of each eye as the cataract became more severe. For example, I’d look out of my right eye at a traffic light and see two lights instead one.
We told you you had nothing to worry about! That’s great, seriously.
My doctor says I have the very earliest signs of cataracts forming.
Any advice?
