These screeds are ridiculous. They are based on false premises.

FR is owned by a particular person. That gives him the right to make final policy decisions. Those who don’t agree with those decisions have every right to disagree. But they have no right to claim their rights were even abused, let alone violated.

Do I agree with Jim on every issue? No! Guess what, I usually just keep quiet about it. And if I don’t, I take special care to be very civil and professional about what I say and how I say it.

And I have that policy not just because I’m a nice guy who prefers to be civil and respectful. It’s also because I recognize the high net value of the service to our nation of what FR does—in spite of the areas where I disagree with the FR consensus.

United we stand, divided we fall. And that’s the refutation of the other false premise on which these screeds are based.
