NEW YORK (AP) -- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is launching a sports clothing line called V7 that will be sold exclusively at East Coast sporting goods shop Modell's.
The line is the latest image-restoration move for Vick, who spent 18 months in federal prison after being convicted of bankrolling a dogfighting ring and was released in 2009.

Yes, he’s out of jail, still doesn’t make him any less of a scumbag for what he did.

My problem is that I would like to see him get his back broken, and I would enjoy watching his suffering. If you don't like my opinion, too bad.

I Haven't Forgotten How Sadistic Michael Vick is? "The details that got to me then and stay with me today involve the swimming pool that was used to kill some of the dogs," Reynolds wrote on her blog. "Jumper cables were clipped onto the ears of underperforming dogs, then, just like with a car, the cables were connected to the terminals of car batteries before lifting and tossing the shamed dogs into the water." She continued, "We don't know how many suffered this premeditated murder, but the damage to the pool walls tells a story. It seems that while they were scrambling to escape, they scratched and clawed at the pool liner and bit at the dented aluminum sides like a hungry dog on a tin can
I wont post pictures of his victims, theyre too gruesome. Oh, and heres another one: Vick did all that and more to his dogs, and even threw family pets into the pit with fighters and laughed while they were mauled, according to a witness who testified to federal investigators.

I have a problem with Vick, that goes beyong his dog fighting.
He declared bankruptcy in 2008...right after he tranfered all his money to his friends and his mother. I saw another ‘redemption’ story a few weeks ago, saying he was only $400k away from paying back his $20 million debt....but I still have a few problems with it:
1. He didn’t pay back the $20 million because of any responsibility on his part, or a moral determination to pay back his debts. Rather, his Eagles pay has been going to a trustee, who gave Vick an allowance.
2. Its been 4 years...interest rates are low these days; but, there has to be some time value to that money....and keep in mind, its not that he didn’t have the money to pay his debts - he chose to hide it by giving it to his ‘posse’, for safekeeping.
Here’s a story on it:
http://allmandlaw.com/bankruptcy-fraud/details-of-michael-vick%E2%80%99s-illegal-pre-bankruptcy-asset-transfers-come-to-light
Normal people like me would go to prison for doing this.
Now, none of this stuff keeps me up at night. But, I do get a bad taste in my mouth, every time some commentator talks in glowing terms about Vick’s ‘redemption’.
And then there’s the dog fighting....
I don’t want Vick to get injured or anything like that...but I’d love to see a winless season for him.

Anyone defeinding this dog torturer and dog murderer should be adorned with steak and thrown into a dog cage with many pitbulls and rotties.

Rapists and child molesters regularly server their time as well - does that mean we should ignore or forget what they did, what their crimes say about their character, and what horrors they are capable of?

These dumb sh*t athletes always lose money on stupid investments like this. Junior Seau lost tons of money on his clothing line. They like to see thier names in stores and on products. If I had that kind of dough I would concentrate on not losing the money and get a reasonable rate of return on good mutual funds.
