Got any pictures of him? I had two uncles who were in the U.S. Army in WWII. My one uncle was from Canada, and my other uncle was from Holland. My great-uncle from Canada was killed in France towards the end of WWI. He's buried in a British Military Cemetery there. My brother was in the U.S. Army, and served in Vietnam '66-67. My 5th great-grandfather was a Lieut. in the Duchess County (NY) Militia, and is listed as a Patriot in the D.A.R. Patriot Index.

Yes , there are pictures of him - several in fact - framed , but no longer hanging in one of the downstairs rooms since we bought the house after the passing of both he and my mother-in-law . One I remember was a standard photo , posed in a studio of some sort , and the other one of him on a horse , I think in the Philippines . Sure there are others .
