Not that I know of, though nothing she does would surprise me anymore, but she sure had a lot of people in her circle like that. Went over to one of her friends for a birthday party (”single” Jewish lady who came to Des Moines from Chicago to go to school at Drake and never went back) who had birthday and holiday cards from Danny Ortega, Fidel Castro, assorted union and Dem operatives and Tom Harkin on her mantle.
