Don't overlook ebooks. The percentage of electronic book downloads has been moving up rapidly and IIRC it is just about 1/2 of all Amazon book sales.

No, e books is not the reason. Ignorance is the reason. They don’t have nor read any books.
People with kindles have books laying around all over.
