It would take a whole lot more than 20K russian commandos to take this country. They would have their asses handed to them.

Secured by only the first reason given within the 2nd Amendment. The need for a "well regulated" (well operating and functional) militia, which is defined in the Federalist papers as "all of the people capable of bearing arms". And the reason: Being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.

No other country in the world has this right defined. And it will stay thus.

IIRC, the article was REMOVING whatever real AMERICANS there are left in government positions from office. Very different than trying to take over the whole country at one time.

They would have their asses handed to them.

By who? If they succeeded in taking out the American Leaders in government, who would call the National Guard? Who would organize the attack ?

Who would you attack? Anyone who 'looked' like a Russian ? I don't think they will be wearing uniforms.

Come to think of it, maybe they WILL wear uniforms, and maybe SOME are already here....

Media buzz as US confirms Russian troops to train on American soil

That’s 400 per state.
That’s 1 per 15,000 citizens.
Enough to cause major disruptions as described, but not enough to break us.
Winning takes boots on the ground, and that’s not a lot of boots.

Never mind that during the infiltration process, a whole lot of them would defect. Like just about all.
